Full Review

Our team found GetBuddy's AI-driven matching system innovative, allowing users to swipe through potential pets much like dating apps. This approach can streamline the adoption process, connecting prospective pet owners with over 250,000 animals across Canada. However, some users might miss the traditional adoption experience, where personal interactions with shelter staff can help assess compatibility. while the app provides instant health and training support, the reliance on AI may not account for the emotional aspects of pet ownership. It's also notable that the service is free, ensuring accessibility for all pet seekers. Yet, the app may not facilitate direct contact with shelters, which could be a barrier for those looking to visit and meet pets in person before making a decision. The potential for missed connections due to AI matchmaking should be considered, as personal touch remains vital in pet adoption.
